COME DISCOVER THE HEBREW ROOTS OF THE FAITH

HOAM SWEET HOME
House Of Adonai Messianic Fellowship (HOAM) is a family-oriented church, where all are welcome and made to feel right at home. At HOAM, we want to help you answer the hard questions (that you are free to ask here!), and allow the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) to open your “spiritual” eyes and reveal to you the truth in His Word. For God wants believers to worship Him in Spirit and in truth!
John 16:13 “The Holy Spirit is coming. He will lead you into all truth.”
Psalm 119:142 “Your Torah is truth.”
John 4:24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
AT HOAM EXPERIENCE HOW TO

KNOW YESHUA (JESUS)
At House Of Adonai Messianic Fellowship (HOAM) we want to offer you a safe place to come to know who Yeshua (Jesus) truly is, how much He loves you, and how you can love Him back. John 14:15 “If you love me, keep My commandments.”
GROW IN HIM
Growing to be more like Yeshua is what every believer strives to do each day. He was the Word (Torah) made flesh and walked this Earth to be a living example for us of what it means to live for Elohim (God). 1 John 2:6 “Whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked.”
SERVE HIM DAILY
Serving is faith in action. It allows us to experience God together and increases our faith. How? It’s a front seat not only to watch but be a part of God changing people’s lives. In fact, you were created for service. God has given you specific gifts and a valuable role to play in focusing on and caring for others. By serving, you’ll be drawn to the very heart of God. 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others”

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the Tanach (which is known as the Old Testament) in the original writings is fully inspired by Elohim (God), and is His complete revelation to man until the Messiah returns. It is effective enough by itself to present the entire plan of salvation in the person of Immanuel, Yeshua Ha Mashiach, called Jesus Christ by the Greco-Roman culture.
We believe that the Brith Chadasha (which is known as the New Testament) in the original writings is also fully inspired by Elohim (God) to confirm the fulfillment of God's promises concerning the Salvation of the Mankind.
We believe in one Elohim (God), as He has revealed Himself in the scriptures according to Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God, The Lord is One", and represented by the tetragrammaton YHWH, whom we can call: Adonai, Elohim, Saviour, Creator, Lord, Almighty, God, etc.
We believe that Elohim (God) was manifested to men in three different ways - as Creator or Father; as Redeemer or Yeshua-Immanuel; and finally as the Ruach ha Kodesh, the Comforter or Holy Spirit, possessing the same nature of Deity and perfection but with different functions.
We believe that Elohim (God) became flesh in the person of Yeshua Immanuel (God is with us) to fulfill all His promises concerning our Salvation, among them His promise in Leviticus 17:11. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls",
And His promise in Isaiah 53. "But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray. Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; like a lamb that is led to slaughter, and like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, so He did not open His mouth".
We believe that Yeshua was conceived by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Miriam, that He arose from the dead, and is now alive.
We believe that the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit of God) comforts, teaches, leads, indwells and empowers all whom Elohim (God) regenerates. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that they exist in our day.
We believe in the second coming of the Messiah to reign from Jerusalem over all the nations.
We believe redemption is through the grace of Elohim (God) alone, and not by human efforts.
We believe that man had no need to do anything for his redemption, but after being redeemed, through the blood of Yeshua, we need to bear the fruits of salvation.
We believe that the twelve tribes of Israel are not lost but hidden and are being restored by God in our time.
We believe it is important to return to the Hebrew roots of our faith, as modeled by Yeshua and His disciples.
We believe it is important that “whoever claims to abide in Him must walk just as He walked” 1 John 2:6, and that “You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” Deut. 4:2
We believe that Elohim has sanctified the Shabbat as His day of rest and commanded us to do the same.
We believe that Yeshua is the only head of the Kehila (church), and that the congregation is not to be led by a single pastor or rabbi, but by elders and deacons, as instituted by God in the Bible.
We believe that the Kehila (church) is a place to heal the wounded and give hope to the captives and release the oppressed.
We believe that the only tangible way to show love for God is to love our neighbour by keeping His commandments.
We believe that God never nullified or changed His promises regarding His chosen people and regarding Israel as a nation.
We believe the Kehila (Body) of the Messiah will pass through at least part, if not all, of the Tribulation.

Make A True Change
Giving shows that we put our trust in God and his provision, not our own perceived ability to provide. It’s also a recognition that he has given much to us and we are willing to reciprocate his generosity. Whether you give offerings during services or choose to make recurring gifts online, know that when you support the church, you’re faithfully proclaiming the gospel.
While the idea of tithing (giving 10% of your income) can seem intimidating, the Bible explains that God promises to bless us for our obedience in giving. You will never out-give God. It doesn’t matter how much or how little we make; tithing is about trusting in the Lord and furthering his purpose here on Earth.
Beyond supporting the ministry of this church, your giving helps people and organizations across the globe who provide tangible and spiritual help to those who need it. We feel a deep sense of responsibility to make a difference locally and globally, both spiritually and to support Israel.
House of Adonai Messianic Fellowship is a registered Charitable Organization with the Canada Revenue Agency, Registration number 830827903 RR 0001, so your donations are tax deductible and a donation receipt will be issued to you at the end of the year.

2026 CALENDAR
Dates in bold are Yom Tov, (High Sabbaths) so they have similar obligations and restrictions as the Shabbat in the sense that there is to be a Holy convocation and we are to do no work.

HOW TO CELEBRATE SPRING HOLY DAYS
PASSOVER \ PESACH
-
It is NOT a High Sabbath, but a preparation day. So on that day we can work, shop and prepare for the Passover meal.
-
We are also to use this day to clean all leaven out of our homes.
FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD \ FEAST OF MATZOT
-
The 1st day and the 7th day are High Sabbaths, so we are to do no work and gather for God’s holy convocations on those 2 days.
-
On the evening after Passover, when the 1st day of unleavened bread begins, is when we are to celebrate Passover with a meal. During the meal we are to remember how the first Passover lamb saved Israel from slavery in Egypt but especially remember how the Lamb of God saved us from slavery to sin on Passover over 2000 years ago.
-
From the 1st to the 7th day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread we are to have no leaven in our homes or eat any leaven but we are to eat some Matzah each day.
Leviticus 23:5-8 “During the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Adonai’s Passover. On the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Matzot to Adonai. For seven days you are to eat matzah. 7 On the first day you are to have a holy convocation and you should do no regular work. 8 … On the seventh day is a holy convocation, when you are to do no regular work.”
Exodus 13:7 “Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and nothing leavened shall be seen among you, nor shall any leaven be seen among you in all your borders.”
Exodus 12:14 “This day is to be a memorial for you. You are to keep it as a feast to Adonai. Throughout your generations you are to keep it as an eternal ordinance.”
FEAST OF WEEKS \ SHAVUOT
-
It is a High Sabbath, so we are to do no work and gather for God’s holy convocation.
-
We are to remember how God saved Israel from Egypt then gave them the 10 Commandments on Shavuot at Mt. Sinai. We are also to remember how on Shavuot, over 2000 years ago, God poured out His Holy Spirit on mankind to help us better keep His commandments.
Leviticus 23:21 “You are to make a proclamation on the same day that there is to be a holy convocation, and you should do no regular work. This is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.”
Deut 16:12 “You shall also remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall be careful and comply with these statutes.”
HOW TO CELEBRATE FALL HOLY DAYS
FEAST OF TRUMPETS \ YOM TERUAH
-
It is a High Sabbath, so we are to do no work and gather for God’s holy convocation.
-
We are to blow our shofar on this day for God.
Leviticus 23:23-25 “Adonai spoke to Moses saying: “Speak to Bnei-Yisrael, saying: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you are to have a Shabbat rest, a memorial of blowing shofarot, a holy convocation. You are to do no regular work.”
DAY OF ATONEMENT \ YOM KIPPUR
-
It is a High Sabbath, so we are to do no work and gather for God’s holy convocation.
-
We are to afflict our souls. Many choose to fast that day, but what is essential is that we stop, examine ourselves, and give an account of oneself. It is meant to be a sober time of retrospection before God.
Leviticus 23:27-28 “the tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippur, a holy convocation to you, so you are to afflict yourselves. You are to bring an offering made by fire to Adonai. You are not to do any kind of work on that set day.”
FEAST OF TABERNACLES \ SUKKOT
-
The 1st day and the 8th day are High Sabbaths, so we are to do no work and gather for God’s holy convocations, on those 2 days.
-
We are to live in a sukkah for 7 days.
-
We are to remember what God has done for Israel during 40 years in the desert.
-
We are to rejoice, thinking of the great feast we will have with Yeshua, when He returns. J
Deuteronomy 16:13-14 “You are to keep the Feast of for seven days, after gathering in the produce from your threshing floor and winepress.” So you will rejoice in your feast—you, your son and daughter, slave and maid, Levite and outsider, orphan and widow within your gates. Seven days you will feast to your God.”
Leviticus 23:42-43 “Live in temporary sukkot for seven days: … so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in sukkot when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.”
